Failure to Launch

Last weekend I met a guy at a going away party for a coworker. It was at a country club and the drinks were flowing freely. I was on my own and driving so I really watched myself. About 11PM this guy was paying a lot of attention to me and he was cute, funny in a self deprecating way and an acting a little drunk. In talking I found out he had come to the party with a friend and didn’t really know my coworker at all. I told him I would like to get out of there and invited him to join me. He jumped at the chance and we went to a nearby bar for a drink that turned into three for him and one for me. About 12:30 I suggested we go to my place and have something to eat. We made out a little in the parking lot and the went to my place. He was getting pretty touchy and hugging but I got him inside and on the couch. I got busy making some cheese and crackers and returned to find him sound asleep. I couldn’t get him to wake up and stay awake so I gave up and covered him up with a blanket and got ready for bed. At 7AM I woke up and he was snoring away on the couch. I woke him up and he was confused, hungover and couldn’t remember anything after leaving the bar. I fed him breakfast and got him some Tylenol. We have a date for Saturday. I wonder how that will go??
